In this session we will hear from several medievalists about how they are facing the challenges and opportunities of the increased attention focused on STEM disciplines and the recent critiques of the humanities. The goal is to seek to find the opportunities within the changing landscape of the academy and university and college priories to make a greater space for medieval studies. This session is designed to put forward different strategies and ideas to help programs and associations respond to the pressures on humanities departments and enrollments.
